With nearly two decades spent advising, developing, and studying HR and business leaders, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in human capital and workforce management to help ignite a new conversation at the intersection of HR technology, strategy and impact. Lombardi has spoken around the globe to HR audiences on topics across the HCM spectrum, and has authored hundreds of research reports and papers. Her research has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, eLearning Magazine, CIO Magazine and other trade publications. Toni’s first passion is Payroll, followed by process improvement and education. Having obtained her Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation in 2002, Toni has led a variety of payroll focused onboarding classes during her professional roles, while keeping up-to-date with her own certification.
Toni recently brought her 20 plus years of operational experience to the Kronos team — after being a Kronos customer for more than eight years — and now works closely with the Kronos sales team to provide industry knowledge and tools.
In her previous role, Toni managed the Shared Service Center for Payroll and Timekeeping functions for DHL’s three (out of four) business lines operating in the Americas. During her tenure with DHL, she led and assisted in multiple projects to migrate country business lines (such as the Payroll and Timekeeping functions) into the Shared Service model, increasing the accuracy, effectiveness, and speed of the systems.
Toni has developed and led a global project team to streamline timekeeping service offerings for DHL’s Shared Service Centers around the world. Additionally, when DHL implemented Kronos Timekeeping in multiple countries onto a centralized platform, Toni advised global Shared Service Centers on timekeeping implementations and rollouts.
